Ground Transportation

For guests that will fly into the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport, you can arrange for Ithaca Airline Limousine to take you right to the Robert Purcell Community Center for less than $13 per person. For more information about Ithaca Airline Limousine, call 607 273-3030 or 800 273-9197.  You may also take a taxi to campus-- fares are approximately $10.50 per person plus $1 per suitcase.

For guests that fly into Syracuse's Hancock International Airport, Ithaca Airline Limousine offers transportation to campus for $55 per person one way, or  $95 per person round trip. For more information about Ithaca Airline Limousine, call 607 273-3030 or 800 273-9197.

Greyhound has a bus terminal in downtown Ithaca, and taxis are available from there to campus. The taxi fare is approximately $5.60 per person plus $1 per suitcase without tip. Although riders often share a cab to campus, the full fare applies to each individual.

For those coming by car, Ithaca is a little more than an hour's drive from Binghamton or Syracuse. If you are bringing a car to campus for the summer, you will need to purchase a parking permit at the RPCC Service Center.

Air Travel to Cornell University

The Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport is located on Brown Road in Ithaca, NY. A 10-minute drive from campus and downtown areas, the area is serviced by the following:

Local bus
Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit (TCAT) buses are the cheapest options to Cornell. Route 31 serves the Ithaca airport.
